How to get to Heaven
The world we live in is full of lies, disaster, despair, uncertainty, doubt. It can make a person wonder will there ever be anything good when there is so much which is bad? The answer is YES! How is this possible? Let's look at what the Bible says.
In the Book of John chapter 3 verse 16 it is written:
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
This means that God who is just and righteous cares about us very deeply. He provided His Son Jesus to take the punishment for every wrong thing we've ever done. Speaking in terms of modern day punishment it would look something like this: You broke the law and the court ruled that the penalty of death be your punishment. You are brought to a room full of prison guards with stern uncaring faces and a table with restraints. You are forced down on the table and strapped so you cannot move. You know at that moment this is real. Will there be anything after this? Will there be anyone? Tears stream down your face and then the phone in the room rings...It is the Supreme Justice himself (very unusual) ordering your execution to be stopped. Incredibly there is a man brought in to the room and the guards begin releasing you from the restraints and placing Him instead on the execution table. The man does not resist at all, in fact He is very willing. He looks intently into your eyes and all you can see is love and compassion. His last words on earth are: Do not try to understand what has happened here today but instead tell everyone you know that Jesus Christ The Son of God has set you free from death unconditionally. Tell everyone you encounter to believe in Me and they will be saved and not suffer hell. This I do because I love you and I ask that you love everyone as I have loved you.
Look at what is written in the Book of Acts chapter 16 verse 30 through 32:
He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house.
The way to Heaven begins with you believing that Jesus Christ the Son of God came to earth as an ordinary man, was put to death because we (everyone created) sinned and could not please God in our sinful state of being and that He (Jesus) was resurrected (brought back to life) and ascended to Heaven to sit at the right Hand of God forever.
It is important to know:
Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” (The Book of John chapter 14 verse 1 through 7)
Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. (The Book of John chapter 14 verse 10 through 14)
It is our hope and Prayer that everyone receive Jesus Christ and be baptized in the spirit. God Bless you.

It is important to know:
- God does not expect nor require for you to earn your way into Heaven. (You can't, no one can)
- God does not desire for you to Pray an elaborate Prayer to Him. Don't try to impress God. Jesus said in the Book of Matthew chapter 6 verse 7 through 8 "And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him."
- Be honest with God (tell Him you are truly sorry for every bad thing or mistake you've made then ask for and accept His forgiveness through Jesus).
- The Forgiveness and Grace of God is not a reason to go on doing the things that we asked for and accepted His forgiveness for. (Do not put the Lord your God to the test.)
- Don't ignore the commandments of God, on the contrary make the choice to follow them. (What are the commandments of God? Click here)
- No one is perfect and God knows your heart, He knows when you're trying to do what is right. (For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus The Book of Romans chapter 3 verse 23 through 24)
- Make the choice to forgive other's and believe at that moment that God is helping you to completely forgive. (Jesus died so the sin of everyone was wiped clean from the slate. He didn't die to forgive some sin, or the sin of some people. He died and forgave everyone's sin - past, present and future. Whatever it is you think you cannot forgive someone for because he or she "hurt, angered or insulted you too much"....change your thinking. Consider this - when Jesus was being executed He did not hurl insults but in fact said “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing" (The Book of Luke Chapter 23 verse 34)
- Make the choice to be humble. Do not look down on other's but consider other's as children of God who are made (just as you are) in the image of God. Be kind and understanding and know that what we look like on the outside almost always has nothing to do with our heart. Only God knows the heart. If you take pride in anything, let it be because of what God has done. God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble. Don't concern yourself with what you have here on earth because everything on earth is finite and eventually you'll want to replace it anyway again and again. Instead find happiness in what you have, your health? the ability to walk? the ability to see? to hear? your children? your spouse? none of these? How about simply knowing that God hears you when you Pray and is always at work answering Prayer and helping us?
- The greatest most important thing you can do is make the choice to love other's. God will help you to do this, just ask Him and believe He is working on it for you. (The Book of 1 Peter chapter 4 verse 8 through 10 "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."
- You must be baptized in the Spirit of God and become born again. It is written in the Bible in the Book of Matthew chapter 3 verse 13 through 17 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented. As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
- Jesus is the only way to get to Heaven.
