Light Of The Lamb Church acquires and distributes fresh food every week to East San Diego County.
They have been estimated by the San Diego Food Bank to be within the top 5th position out of 412 non-profit agencies distributing food within San Diego county.
Their distributions average 106,000 pounds of food every 6 months.

The Beginning of The Lord's Vision for us
Light Of The Lamb, an intercessory ministry, inc. is the name received from The Lord in February of 2006. It would take a while longer to understand how our family was to be included in His Ministry.
Mark's rededication to God
Shortly before the name had been received and the Purpose of The Lord for His Ministry, Mark had encountered an accident on a highway involving a burning vehicle. A man was inside of the vehicle and Mark feeling led by The Lord along with another man hurried to get the man out of the car. They went to the car and despite the flames pulled the man from the car and brought him to a safe area. As the man lie there taking his last breaths Mark began to speak to him trying to comfort him. He told him about the sacrifice Jesus had made for him and that it was alright for him to go to Jesus if this was The Lord's Will for him. At the end of the prayer the man left to be with Jesus. Sadly the man had died as a result of a head wound but amazingly not one person, including the man, had been burned from the fire. This was very hard to witness but what had happened changed the purpose of Mark's life in such a direction that he made a covenant to The Lord that very night to allow himself to be used for whatever purposes God chose. He has ever since.
Mark has had an automotive repair business here at this location since 1998 and has met so many people this way! He became friends with them and so many have opened up to him about their needs, life's concerns, life's events whether good or bad. There were times when Mark has interceded and counseled with people contemplating suicide, divorce, job changes, marriages and many other decisions. He believe's The Lord sent them here to him. God led them here at the right moment and used Mark to minister His Word. By this time Mark had already received the name for the Ministry and God's message was very clear to him that He wanted him to continue.
The Fires of October 2007
It was very intense during the fires for so many people. They were scared and confused. It was heartbreaking as people's homes burned to the ground and nothing but ashes were left. Mark and his family chose not to evacuate. Mark told God that if He wanted His home, His business and His Ministry to be a burnt offering then so be it. God didn't allow any of it to be burned. The first night of the fires a man came here whom Mark had known for many years. The man had a past history of drugs, drinking and just making some really wrong choices in general. His home had burned to the ground and he rode his ATV around and sometimes through the burning brush to Mark's home and Ministry seeking safety and sanctuary. He had barely escaped with his life! With tears streaming down his face he told Mark he was scared and he didn't know what to do. Mark told him to trust God with his life. After counseling and comforting him he accepted Jesus that very night! What a Blessing that The Lord allowed this beautiful life event to be witnessed! WOW! So very cool. Mark had some clients who came in their motor home (part of their home had caught on fire) he told them they could park in front of his place and use the electricity and water, etc. He talked with them about trusting God and reminded them that Jesus is our true comfort. Mark handed them a Daily Bread and offered them a Bible. He prayed over them for all of their needs and a Hedge of Protection from God. Right after that the police came through with their loud speakers and announced a voluntary evacuation. Mark's friends decided to evacuate so he said goodbye and sent them out with God's Blessings. Mark decided to start a webpage from his company website so a link was created to update people about what was going on during the period of evacuation. It just seemed like the right thing to do because so many people were worried about what had or had not burned and if there poor animals were alright. He vigilantly began a "patrol" of sorts going throughout the neighborhoods to follow through with what people had requested of him and emailing back to very concerned people what he had found, good or bad. Mark's heart and Prayers went out to them. Supplies were received here to help people who had been displaced by the fires and Mark began delivering water, food, blankets, whatever he had available, to local schools, families and individuals as needed. Many were counseled with and encouraged toward Christ. The work of The Lord was being done and Mark was very thankful to Him to be a part of it.
Light Of The Lamb 2009
On February 8, 2009 Light Of The Lamb held its 4th Church service! New people have shown up each weekend Mark is hopeful that we don't run out of room to put people because he has a really big family as it is! Some donations came in from a dear friend who is also a Pastor. There was a lot of musical equipment which is a very cool and amazing BLESSING because almost the entire family are musicians. Yea! Worship music.
